Okay, so I'm the typical preacher's kid that grew up in church. My father's a preacher and mom's a bible teacher. And I was the youngest that wanted to get away from it all.

Away from the projects of Brooklyn, NY and the humdrum all day Sunday services with at least two more awaiting me throughout the week.

Was I getting out of dodge? Yes, I was. And I was happy to do it.

That is until I got on campus.

I didn't realize how much I missed God until He was gone.

I learned a great deal about God and prayer. I learned that He listens anywhere.
